About the Author

Albert F. Case, Jr. has been practicing hypnosis for more than 30 years, beginning his studies at Niagara University in the 1970s and then continuing them at the State University of New York at Buffalo, from which he received his degree. Mr. Case was on both university faculties in his early career.

From the mid-1970s until 2008, his practice of hypnosis was pursued part-time. However,  in 2008 Mr. Case suffered a life-threatening stroke. After surviving the immediate medical condition, he then spent nearly 3 months in rehabilitation. Mr. Case credits the use of self up noses, called auto-suggestion, for his current, merely miraculous recovery.

Since his stroke, Mr. Case has concentrated his energies on the application of hypnosis as a therapeutic technique.
